So I want to do a hardcore run & I have all DLC. Do I have to do all dlc in hardcore or Just the main story to get the achievment? Showing 1 - 13 of 13 comments
I generally play Honest Hearts first, at level 13-14, just after getting into New Vegas and finishing the business with Benny, mainly because it doesn't have a place in the other DLC's story arch, and is essentially filler, and because it's got some cool weapons and armor that are definitely worth getting.
Christine is a brotherhood of steel assassin, her mission to hunt down Elijah, and kill him. She followed him for a long time, but was eventually trapped in a defective auto doc. Her vocal cords were ripped out, and she was tourtured for two weeks by the auto doc. Christine is an interesting companion.
As for the DLC order, from a story perspective it doesn't matter much, so as long as Lonesome Road is the last and also after you go through the main quest. The main quest and the other DLCs have a plot thread that weaves between them that LR ties together as a proper ending. But, it doesn't really matter, plotwise, which other DLC you do first.
1) old world blues. 2) Lonesome Road. 3) dead money. 4) Honest Hearts (I hated every minute of this dlc) #7. The Infamous Cloaker 6 DIC 2012 a las 10:50. 1) Lonesome Road and Couriers stash. 2) Old world Blues. 3)Dead money and Honest Hearts.
Honest Hearts is my favorite DLC as well. I agree it does get overlooked. But I think they over look the fact that you get some great armor and some really good weapons for completing the DLC. Also as you mentioned earlier, the survivor side quest is great and again you get some great stuff from it as well.
The canon order’s probably the release order which is Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and then Lonesome Road. Always play Dead Money before Old World Blues and always Lonesome Road last. Honest Hearts can be played whenever you want though, but I recommend playing it first or second. DreadBert_IAm. • 5 yr. ago.
As title says, was also wondering if you should do them after beating the main quest or if there’s a certain point you should start to do DLC before finishing the main quest. Doing a first time run of new Vegas and want to make sure I hit all the content in the least frustrating way possible. Thanks in advance 🏻🫡
